Wampum resident and creator/owner of KDSTV.com, Kevin D. Sobczak, was named Slippery Rock University’s 2008 Outstanding Senior Man. The award was presented by the SRU Alumni Association at its annual awards banquet held April 19, 2008 on the S.R. U. campus. Kevin has a dual major in physics and computer science along with a minor in mathematics. Scholarships were presented to deserving S.R.U. students and to an outstanding Slippery Rock High School student who will be attending S.R.U. Recognition was also given to outgoing SRUAA board members.
